What is webquest?

A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web.

Why use webquests?

1. Webquest integrate the power of the web with sound and meanful learning theory and instructional design methods.
2. Webquests get students motivated and provide authentic and meaningful learning activities.
3. Webquests promote cooperative learning.
4. Webquests help students develop higher thinking order skills.
